In this one-day class, students will learn to warp and weave on a rigid heddle loom.

In this one-day class, students will learn to warp and weave on a rigid heddle loom. Previous weaving experience is not necessary. The weave structure is a plain weave, or “tabby.” Students will use a direct warping method. Students will need a rigid heddle loom with a 7.5-dent or 8-dent heddle to fit the loom. Looms can be rented from the guild or the instructor on a first come-first served basis, but the number of looms available is limited. Contact the Fiber Arts Store or the instructor about renting a loom.

Winter Class, Saturday, January 28, 10 am to 4 pm
Spring Class, Monday, April 24, 10 am to 4 pm

Cost: $50 BSWG member, $80 non-BSWG member (includes 2022-2023 membership)
