In this one-day class, students will learn to warp and weave using two heddles on a rigid heddle loom in order to weave a twill scarf. Previous rigid heddle experience is necessary. Students need to be proficient in warping a single heddle and weaving on a rigid heddle loom. The first part of the class will focus on the provisional warp, followed by attaching and threading the project warp. The weave structure is a three-shaft
twill. Additional instructions and materials list provided before class.

Winter Class, Wednesday, February 8, 10 am to 4 pm
Spring Class, Wednesday, April 26, 10 am to 4 pm

Cost: $60 BSWG member, $90 non-BSWG member (includes 2022-2023 membership)
Level: Intermediate (students need to be proficient in warping single heddle and weaving on rigid heddle loom)
Materials: Yarn to be purchased by student
Class Size: 1 to 4 students
Looms: Use of a guild loom is additional. Students may bring their own loom, or contact the Fiber Arts Store or instructor about rental.
